PETITION OF SUPPORT FOR MR. EMANUEL HAILEY

To Whom It May Concern,

We, the undersigned, are writing this petition in support of Mr. Emanuel Hailey, principal of Pepper Elementary School in Oak Park. We believe Mr. Hailey has been a dedicated educator, leader, mentor, and advocate for children within the school district and community.

Throughout his years of service, Mr. Hailey has demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and commitment toward the safety and wellbeing of students, including children with special needs. Many parents, staff members, students, and community supporters have personally witnessed his care, leadership, and willingness to go above and beyond for children.

Mr. Hailey has been known as a pillar within the school community — someone who consistently showed concern for students, supported families, and worked to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

This petition does not excuse wrongdoing by any individual who may have caused harm. However, we believe Mr. Hailey’s full character, years of service, and positive impact on countless children and families should be taken into consideration.

We respectfully ask that his integrity, dedication, and longstanding contributions to the Oak Park school community be fairly acknowledged and considered.
