Grant the release of Kenneth Vodochodsky, either by pardon, or by parole.

The Issue

Kenneth was only 19 years of age when he was arrested and charged with Capital Murder under the "Law of Parties" for multiple murders that he did not commit. His roommate, Jeremiah Engleton, was the sole perpetrator of said crime. Nevertheless, Kenneth was tried, convicted, and sentenced to the maximun punishment -- DEATH! He spent four(4) years on Death Row fighting for his life. Finally, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, in a 6-2 landmark ruling, overturned Kenneth's conviction and Death sentence (see the opinion at: KENNETH VODOCHODSKY V. THE STATE OF TEXAS, 158 S.W 3d 502).

That was not the end however, because relentless prosecutors and the police force were determined to make sure Kenneth never goes free, going to great lengths to fabricate new evidence, in the form of witnesses (see: "Case Summary" at www.Murder-pedia.org).

Instead of risking a possible "Capital Life" sentence by going back to trial again, Kenneth decided it was in his best interest to take a thirty(30) year plea agreement. This way, he would still have a chance to one day be free, at a reasonably young age.
It has now been fifteen(15)  years; In this 15 year period, Kenneth has done everything in his limited capacity to learn and grow to better himself in all areas of life. He has grown into a mature and spiritually enlightened man. He has gained an abundance of knowledge, and is working on his Associates Degree.

Kenneth also has a 16 year old son whom he loves and misses dearly, and can't wait to be reunited with. Kenneth has many loving family and friends who have stood by his side throughout this entire ordeal, and plan to continue helping him in every way necessary upon his release. Kenneth deserves a second chance at life, fatherhood, and being a productive member of society. Please grant Kenneth his long awaited freedom.
