The levels of litter on the Winnington Village estate is starting to reach a level that is making it look more like a rubbish tip than a modern housing estate. Play areas are covered in litter that has been dumped by people too lazy to take it home. 

While bins will not completely stop the issue, it will help to alleviate the issue by providing a place to put rubbish. If this then coupled with regular weekly emptying of the bins then it will help to keep the estate clean. It will also ensure that our environment is looked after and is a lovely place to be as the weather gets nicer. 

Taylor Wimpy and David Wilson Homes are responsible for this until the estate is handed over to the council. It is this petition's aim to show that the estate is fed up with having to pick up and clean the parks as a voluntary act when bins and a rubbish collection should be provided as part of the services provided under the service rent.
