RE:     Starkey Ranch Warranty Issues

 

To Whom it May Concern:

There has been a growing concern amongst Starkey Ranch’s Taylor Morrison customers regarding a complete lack of responsiveness and follow-through regarding warranty issues with our newly constructed homes.  Therefore, please allow the following to serve as an informal petition signed by many Taylor Morrison homeowners of Starkey Ranch.

We are requesting that Taylor Morrison leadership get involved in the process and apply whatever resources are necessary to correct the major and minor issues that have arisen before and after our closings.  Many of us closed on homes that were not fully completed and/or defective with the promise from Taylor Morrison’s superintendents that the warranty program would assure correction without issue.  This promise has not been held and over the past several months we have been forced to repeatedly message on the electronic system, call, text, and email. 

Many of us have had zero response whatsoever for months regarding our ticketed items and many of us who have heard back were given little to no information other than the fact that the warranty department is understaffed and overwhelmed with requests.  That is an unfortunate issue that needs your attention. Therefore, we have decided to make a last-ditch effort to reach out and hopefully obtain a clear plan and timeline for completion of our warranty ticket items.

Please do what is necessary to resolve all pending warranty issues as well as your own internal staffing concerns. Otherwise, we will have little choice but to investigate and pursue all available legal avenues.
