Keep the Keewatin in Port McNicoll

The Issue

The S.S. Keewatin is an important part of Port McNicoll's past and should be kept where it belongs in Port. Skyline Investments wants to send it to Kingston, sell it overseas, or break the ship up and sell it off piecemeal. The Keewatin should be preserved and kept as part of a town revitalization effort, creating a heritage attraction and local employment. Please sign this petition to ask the Minister of Canadian Heritage, Pablo Rodriguez, to reject Kingston's bid for the ship, and to pledge the Federal Government's support to work with officials in Simcoe County to keep the Keewatin home in Port McNicoll.
