A petition has been started to get Target to locate in Milledgeville, GA, which has a population of about 20,000.  Milledgeville is a college town. We have Georgia College and State University, Georgia Military College, and Central Georgia Technical College with a continual influx of new students.  For as long as I have been living in Milledgeville our city is constantly changing with new stores opening up . We already have some great shops here . We are always looking for places that would not only benefit our college students, but also the citizens who live here. We have several smaller towns that are close to Milledgeville, like Sparta, Haddock, Greensboro, Eatonton, Madison, Buckhead and surrounding counties. Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee residents would benefit from a Target this close, plus people who visit the area.  We have several young people who are college students who love to shop for items for their dorm or house.  Target has always been their go-to place to shop for cool things. Target has items for all ages so this growing town could really benefit from having a Target here in Milledgeville, GA.
