The Austin, MN Target Store is a huge source for community members in this Southeastern Minnesota region.  We are devastated at the plan of closing this store, dated January 31, 2015, that always seems to have a full parking lot and staffed with amazing employees.  There has not been large turnover in staff which brings tremendous value to the store and they are so accomodating and helpful each time any of us shop there.  I know many that go there like myself 3 times a weeks for the diapers, the milk, the clothing, the laundry soaps and cleaning supplies.  With this store leaving many faithful patrons are forced to drive and spend their money outside the community  which is really the opposite of what we want to do.  Yes we can buy the items from other stores, but Target is one like no other kind of store. This community is growing and changing.  Target leaving is not a great idea because this community is going to be evovling by 2020 into something so much bigger and brighter.  Please sign this petition to save our Target store.
