Target has been a very important part in our community for many years. Closing the target in Slidell, Louisiana would take the jobs of many hard workers who have been there for years and it would remove the positive impact it has had on our community. They are not like any other Target or big box retailer, the team members are family to each other and to our community. As most of you know, most of the buildings in Slidell are closing or has already closed. Target closing will leave Slidell with yet another empty building. It will be expected to close in February unless we, as a community, can make a difference.
