I have worked for Target for about 9 years now. I love how supportive Target is toward the LGBTQIA+ community! But there is another step I believe Target should take... adding ones’ pronouns to their name badges.

Pronouns may not seem like a big deal to people who identify as the gender they were assigned at birth, but using ones’ correct pronoun shows folks that identify as a different gender, that they are respected and accepted. Adding pronouns skips the teams hidden conversations of “Do we use he or she?”.

Adding pronouns is also a huge educational opportunity. People that don’t understand why it’s important (I was that person at one point too), will gain the understanding.

All it takes from you is a signature to show Target you will support this decision. Thanks in advance ❤️
