Currently, in stores the clothing sections are labeled "men" and "women". However, clothing has no gender, and anyone can dress like they want. You are probably wondering, "So why do we have to change it? Can't anyone shop in any section anyways?", while the answer is no. Many people judge people for not shopping in "their own" section, and it also can feel weird to shop in a clothing section that is not your gender anyways, and it would feel nice to just shop without a gender constricting your view. By changing it to "masculine" and "feminine", there will be no gender associated with clothing- there isn't but according to society there is- and people will be able to shop freely with slightly less judgement, and in the end hopefully no judgment- because why would you judge someone for only wearing something different than you would? I care about this problem deeply because it is very unfair- to people than I even know personally, and me from time to time- to get persecuted for the clothes they like to wear, even though it isn't hurting them. And society pushing gender on clothing does not help the issue either. Please sign this petition, and hopefully it can get some recognition and maybe make a change.
