West Georgia individuals/families purchasing coverage for themselves or their family have two additional carrier options this year. This is very exciting, especially since Anthem BCBS has doubled, and in some cases tripled individuals monthly payments. The coverage offered is horrible, leaving individuals and families paying the bulk of their healthcare out of their pocket. There is one problem with the new carriers, Tanner is not in network. Tanner refused to accept the reimbursement rates. Consumers must choose whether they want to purchase a plan they can afford with zero Tanner access or pay triple for horrible coverage with Anthem/BCBS. Tanner Health System is putting money above the consumer. This needs to stop. Please sign this petition and request that Tanner stop the monopoly with Anthem/BCBS so that West Ga individuals/families may have affordable insurance options.
