Tamil Nadu Government has changed the names of the city recently. Am sure this change is welcome and it will help the non-Tamils to pronounce the city names in Tamil Nadu to pronounce correctly. Even though names like Vellore cannot be pronounced properly as it is veeloor, still most of the names are perfect to pronounce. we appreciate the change. At the same time, we want the Tamil Nadu Government to consider the name Change of the State also. It is not Tamil Nadu it is Thamizh Nadu. Our language is Thamizh. This will really help the Non-Tamils to Pronounce our State Name and our Language name Correctly.

Zha is the Uniqueness and Pride of our Tamil Language. and it should be pronounced by everyone. When we change the city names we should change the State Name too. We highly recommend this change and we need all your support to sign this petition and make this dream goal achievable.   

This will be great if we change the Tamil to Thamizh forever. This Government will take that pride of changing the name to the correct pronunciation.
