Stop the Littlemoss Housing Development

Stop the Littlemoss Housing Development
The Issue
Having been to the exhibition event that Tameside Council held at St John's Church on 30/06/2016, it is clear that the vast majority of local residents are not happy with the proposal to build 60 new houses on the former Littlemoss High School site.
My main concerns are:
1. The noise, construction deliveries i.e. trucks and dirt caused by such a development, the entrance to Cryer Street is already dangerous as it is.
2. Devaluation of our properties.
3. Increased traffic to a road that is already overused (for example, what if the 60 houses that are proposed each have 2 cars, that's an additional 120 cars for the existing road to cope with! not to mention the friends and family of the new residents visiting, this will cause major problems on Lumb Lane with people coming onto and out of Cryer Street.
4. Increased pollution and road dirt (Car emissions staining house fronts) Increased noise (From the development itself and the additional 120 cars or so coming and going all day)
5. If this development gets the go-ahead who's to say it wont be extended in the future? if the developers who buy the land off the council manage to obtain parts of the surrounding land it could lead to an extension of the proposed development!
Living on Cryer Street, it will be a nightmare for myself and my wife and the other residents for parking, yes they have proposed a car park that will supposedly "benefit us" but not when we have to park quite some distance away from our houses after doing the shopping then carry it all to the front door in all weather.
Another problem for residents of Cryer Street will be the bins, with the proposal to take the pavement in, where are we supposed to put them on what will become a small footpath.
Because Littlemoss is a green area, it would be more beneficial to us all to preserve this site and turn it into something that the community can all enjoy i.e. allotments and possibly a small park for the local children, allotments will still generate a long term income for the Council and the plots would easily be filled as there are long waiting lists at other allotment sites.
The proposed housing development has far too many negatives for current residents and will hardly benefit us, if at all.
