I'm a very passionate native Coloradan. Colorado has many amazing, beautiful attributes to our state. Such as our majestic mountains with healing sunshine 300 days out of the year. Cool water, winding steam with places to see the views of colorful Colorado. This has attracted for the last 10 years an overflow of people. Our state spread far and wide with people trying to get the most out of lovely Colorado. From time to time we go to DIA to leave town or to pick someone up that is coming into town. These people are family, friends and business associates. When arriving at DIA they are met by seeing this big blue horse with red eyes nick named Bluecifer gazing at them, installing intimidation and unease. It makes me question why this statue was put up in the first place. I personally never have had a positive feeling about this horse. Therefore I am petitioning this horse to be taken down. The horse killed the artist. The horse doesn't even match our local football team, The Denver Broncos. The horse creeps out tons of people. I feel by this horse disappearing,it would bring better energy to the land and all of us here in Colorado. Why not replace it with a statue such as the dancing ones downtown that children and everyone else love? Begin New Beginnings here in Colorado. What if you saw a statue on your arrival that made you feel invited and with peace. What if the statue, attraction when you see it and leave it you have a positive reaction. Wouldn't you want to come back and visit to create more beloved memories for yourself and your family.
