I am a student at ychs that relates to many other students in finding a picture put up by Mrs. Schutt to be disturbing, innapropriate, and violent as well as misleading. The sign is a caption about wearing the proper shoes when lifting weights, the sign shows a real picture of a  fresh mutilated foot facing the Junior high in view too all of them. There are many reasons this shouldn't be allowed 

#1 being its innapropriate to be on display for a school with minors, if it were to be shown once during a safety presentation that would be considered more acceptable, it DOES NOT need to be on the wall

#2 It's incredibly distracting to students involved in gym classes and afterschool activity's such as track and weight lifting 3 It's facing the Junior high with kids aged 11-14, it is not ok for people of that age to be viewing especially at school on public display

With this petition we aren't looking to show any disrespectful and or rebellious behaviors towards staff and administration, we are trying to go about it in the most peaceful and professional manner as possible.
