The Issue

As we all know, the meaning of gender equality is providing equal oppurtunities to both men and women in any aspects. And the school as the source of education should gave a program or gave a strand that would give an oppurtunity to both men and women to enroll that strand.Boys and Girls must feel that they are welcome in a safe and secure environment. The best example of strand that accept both girls and boys is the stem strand. Not only in school,we should know that gender equality is that they should be treated equally and not only school gave an oppurtunity but also our institution should provide a program that would be given to both men and women. And in that program everyone is entitled to be given a chance to have the oppurtunity to engaged in that program.

The target audience of this advocacy are those decision makers with authority to bring about the desired change. Second is the individuals or groups with acess to and the ability to influence the primary target audience.may include student associations, faculty groups, university researchers or constituent voters, professional council.

True to life story

Wherever they live in India girls and boys see gender inequality in their homes and communities every day – in textbooks, in movies, in the media and among the men and women who provide their care and support.

Across India gender inequality results in unequal opportunities, and while it impacts on the lives of both genders, statistically it is girls that are the most disadvantaged.

Globally girls have higher survival rates at birth, are more likely to be developmentally on track, and just as likely to participate in preschool, but India is the only large country where more girls die than boys. Girls are also more likely to drop out of school.

In India girls and boys experience adolescence differently. While boys tend to experience greater freedom, girls tend to face extensive limitations on their ability to move freely and to make decisions affecting their work, education, marriage and social relationships.

As girls and boys age the gender barriers continue to expand and continue into adulthood where we see only a quarter of women in the formal workplace.

Some Indian women are global leaders and powerful voices in diverse fields but most women and girls in India do not fully enjoy many of their rights due to deeply entrenched patriarchal views, norms, traditions and structures. Ctto:UNICEF INDIA

Serious problem about gender equality because it discuss about:

a.)Uneven access to education

b.)Lack of employment equality

c.)Job segration

d.)Lack of legal protections

e.)Lack of bodily autonomy

f.)Poor medical care

g.)Lack of religious freedom

h.)Lack of political representation

Possible solutions:

a. Finding policies and programs that increase female labor force participation in the Philippines

a.1) Providing alternative to childcare in the home.

b.Promoting policies supporting flexible work arrangements including work from home.

Through this advocacy it will make our communities safer and healthier, the audience will learn how to treat people equally, and we will know the importance of all human being.

You,me,girl, boy, old and young must be treated equally because we all are created by one creator and that is God our lord.
