As you all aware khloey is an amzing hairdresser. We have had issues trying to qualify her as Tafe lost her paperwork and have rang everyone including the advocate. Please help by signing the petition so we can use this fir her case so after 6 yrs sge xan be finally qualified. I have just emailed this to today tonight as we have no where else to go :( Hi. My daughters name is khloey joan djawas and she was employed by my salon in december 2010. As a first year apprentice. She was 14.5yrs at the time and was attending school but was not doing well so we got an exemption from the school she was attending to start her career as a hairdresser. She started and has developed well and advanced in most of her studies but then tafe at elizabeth closed down and we were advised she was to go to tea tree plaza tafe or adelaide tafe. We chose town but before doing so a teacher from the tafe attended my salon and gave khloey and amber (another apprentice) at the time reconginion of prior learning credits and advised us she would use it to sign khloeys subjects off and advised us she would only need to do a couple subjects to complete her tafe. We never heard anything since the visit and assumed she was cleared to just work in the salon. In 2013 in june we applied for an early release to qualify her as she was competent in the salon but were advised she never attended tafe. She has her student card, fees paid and reports of attendance but were advised by a lecturer who visited the salon that there was no record of her and they had been lost. We then contacted ttp and they wanted her to sit a holistic exam to qualify her. We have since been in contact with the training advocate who said would follow it up i have rang and contacted all authorites and my daughter is now 21 and still not qualified with everything swept under the table. The training conpany mas cant sign her off until tafe verify this even though she has sat the final exam. She has been stripped of her incentive payments which expired last year and career is at jeopardy. She cant leave my work place as her apprenticeship has expired last year and i dont know who to turn to anymore. Can someone please help us :(
