Since then the Tacoma police, the local media and possibly also the Child Protective Service (CPS) have done everything to blame the victim and sweep this under the rug. While there are strong indications that she was bullied and abused at home and at school. It is important that her death is investigated properly.  Also we must have an open discussion about shaming as an educational practice. Honesty and transparency about the the causes and circumstances of Izabels death are a precondition for that. Please don't let Izabels death be in vain!
