Yesterday, Yum! Brands, inc. announced that it was was removing 9 items from the menu of its subsidiary Taco Bell. These include Cool Ranch flavored Doritos Locos Taco, Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos, Chips & Salsa, Chipotle Chicken Loader Griller, Double Decker Taco, Double Tostada, Power Menu Burrito, XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito, and most importantly, the Beefy Mini Quesadilla. This is doubling down on their menu slimming strategy last year with the Apple Pie Empanadas.

With this move, Taco Bell is spitting in the face of their loyal customers, obviously an outrage; alienating those who built them into the company they are today.
