Chris Doran to play Table Tennis England National Championships

Chris Doran to play Table Tennis England National Championships
The Issue
Chris Doran has inexplicably been left off of the entrants list for the Senior National Championships this year, depsite holding a top 10 national ranking for longer than a lot of us can remember.
A top player, with commonwealth medals under his belt, a huge national following, widely respected coach, and probably the most entertaining style of play we've seen in the modern game.
No matter what excuses are made by Table Tennis England regarding maintaining ranking, it is outrageous that Chris was not MADE AWARE of this situation prior to the draw.
It seems obvious to me that if you were a national organisation and it was seeming like your 6th ranked player was about to drop off the ranking list (Due to him coaching and playing internationally for the last year I must add) then surely it would be courteous to let him know.
Since December 2009, Chris has been in the top 7, and since June 2002, Chris has not missed a single ranking list publication. You would think due to the Covid situation, and Chris coaching and competing internationally, some allowances would be made. The last time Chris competed in the nationals he even reached a final.
Table Tennis England - Sort it Out.
