Subway Surf With Friends (Multiplayer Game)

Subway Surf With Friends (Multiplayer Game)
The Issue
One of the most important aspects of a good game is being able to connect with others in a fun and friendly way. We believe that Subway Surf has great potential to become a fun multiplayer game. As of right now, you can only compete for a high score with your friends, which doesn’t allow for players to be interactive with each other.
The best way to make Subway Surf more personal to players is to allow a multiplayer race-like game. This game would have players starting out at the same pace, but power ups and boosters would make some players be “in the lead”. The game would end when the last person dies, and the player with the highest score would be the winner.
Another aspect of the multiplayer game would be an introduction of “de-boosters”, which would allow you to sabotage other players by slowing them down or removing points from their score. The boost and de-boost system gives the game a Mario Kart-like gameplay but with no set finish line and many more possibilities.
The game would only start when two or more friends opt to “start a multiplayer game” and would be put in a lobby-like waiting room, inviting more players to join. Once everyone in the party is ready, the party leader can click “start game” to start the game.
Overall, this addition to Subway Surf would add a new aspect to make the game far more interactive and would attract more players to the game.
