Stop classifying black workers as threatening, and aggressive. As a termination excuse.

The Issue

I was recently terminated from Sweetgreen, for bringing certain issues to light. These issues spoke on fairness in the workplace no matter your selective gender role or race. Being targeted for demanding equality. Ostracized, labeled as threatening and aggressive, because I was the only black male amongst leadership in the restaurant. Which lead to my termination. I later found out I was actually terminated for speaking up about social injustice taking place within the GloverPark sweetgreen. That the aggressive stance used against me was merely an excuse for my quickly exit. Sweetgreen should stand with there black workers, as we demand social change. But the change must start from with in. Sweetgreen should set up effective training on how to respectfully deal with different cultures fairly. Instead of terminating someone trying to implement, and call for change.
