It seems that having seen how lucrative the Browning Avenue bus gate has been so far, rather than remove it Sutton Council are now proposing to partly close Ruskin Drive and Colborne Way with ANPR cameras too! The Council’s own consultation shows that 86% object to the bus gate and there’s been an increase to traffic and pollution levels on surrounding roads. Despite them saying that if it doesn’t work and the majority object to it they would remove it, this doesn’t appear to be their plan! Please sign the new petition using the link above, on the Councils website clicking agree if you agree that the bus gate should be removed and want to stop any plans to shut more roads in our area.
