76 Years old A jeepney driver said "Yung modernization program Nayan na bogus, kung sabihin namin Hindi sana kami tumututol Ang problema napakamahal. unang-una, pagamitin namin,Byahe namin sa Isang Araw Hindi kami makakain kaagad. Pagkatapos Ang ipapalit ngayon Dyan Yung modeling electric motor, 5million , Yan Ang napakasaki

In this statement, it is heartbreaking to hear and see the sadness on their faces as they fiercely and persistently fight to preserve their livelihood.the phaseout of jeepneys in the Philippines has several reasons. Firstly, it is part of an effort to modernize transportation in the country and introduce safer and more environmentally-friendly vehicles. Secondly, many jeepneys are not properly maintained and fail to comply with safety and emission standards, resulting in uncomfortable rides for passengers. Thirdly, older jeepneys emit more pollution compared to modern vehicles. By phasing out jeepneys, the aim is to reduce air pollution and contribute to the fight against climate change. Overall, the phaseout of jeepneys is part of a broader effort to improve the transportation system in the Philippines. Strengthening the modernization of jeepneys, Instead of phasing out jeepneys, we can support jeepney operators and drivers by providing them with financial assistance to upgrade their vehicles. Modernization can focus on aspects such as using lower-emission engines, improving air conditioning systems, and enhancing safety features. By offering assistance and incentives, we can make it easier for jeepney operators to comply with the required standards.

This advocacy says, 'Join us in opposing the phaseout of jeepneys and advocating for the cause of sustainable wheels and sustainable lives.' Together, we can make a difference and shape a better, more sustainable future for the jeepney industry and the communities it serves.Together, we can stand against the jeepney phaseout and work towards a sustainable transportation system that values the livelihoods of the people, promotes environmental sustainability, and ensures accessible and affordable transportation options for all Filipinos

Let us join hands in advocating for sustainable wheels and sustainable lives, preserving the rich cultural heritage and practicality of the jeepney for generations to come.
