Are you tired of wanting to wash or dry your laundry and you do not have any quarters?

What is the point and convenience of having a Laundry Room in the basement if there are no coin machines?

Wouldn’t it be comfortable to just load a laundry card (via a Debit or Credit Card on an app or website) that you can use to do your laundry?

If so, please sign this petition as tenants, who have rights and a voice, so that our Landlord can either get a coin machine where we can exchange bills for quarters or he can finally update the old washer and dryers for new ones that are card-operated. 

In times like these where we are all quarantined in our homes, it has become a priority for us to maintain inside and use the convenience of our Laundry Room. Especially for all of our essential workers who are out and about every day.

Hercules is a company that both leases and sells card operated machines. Many apartment buildings in our area use the company to provide this service to the many buildings with Laundry rooms.

The management office will have to call for a quote to either lease or buy at least 7 washers and 10 dryers. 

There are 88 apartments in this building. If we all sign this petition, we can either request to get a coin machine to change bills into quarters or completely update all washers and dryers to card operated machines. The coin machine will be maintained by the super. (who by the way has his own washer and dryer - no coins - in his office - therefore him and his family are not affected by our laundry room issues). Must be nice.
