Get youtube to change its algorithm so animators can continue monetizing their content

The Issue

Youtube has changed it's algorithm recently, and it's keeping many of it's animators from making money. New requirements for videos are being posted regularly and length being preferably over 10 min. In addition, many animation channels are being demonetized due to content reuse, when the content is completely original.  This really shocked me as a young artist and animation fan. I'm hoping we can make youtube change it's algorithm to include animators more and be accessible to everyone. Usually, animation is a long process, as you have to draw a ton of frames. You could work for 5 hours and end up with about 10 seconds of quality animation. So the only way to post as frequently as other content creators would be to post very short videos, which is also against the algorithm. Some of these animators don't have jobs other than youtube because they're doing what they love. Not monetizing their videos for invalid reasons like not posting frequently, "reused" content, and video length is like demanding someone to do their job for no pay. It's making it really hard for youtube animators (especially the small ones) to get by and make a living. If you sign, you can show that you support these people and stand with them in the fact that they shouldn't have to do this for free when it's their job, meanwhile other youtubers are getting paid enough to toss around large sums of money for fun. If we succeed, youtube animators will be able to continue doing their jobs and getting paid without having to pull a ton of all-nighters. Please sign- the animators of youtube need your help.
