Our commissioners have a choice, to award a $41 million dollar contract back to The Animal Foundation, who is in poor standing in the community and averages a 57% kill rate OR award it to NKLV who would implement a series of life-saving programs/practices that would substantially increase our shelter's live-release rate with the end goal of reaching No Kill status, where 90% or more of the animals are saved.
