Surrey Heath residents have been cheated of a full explanation about the unlawful additional pay increase to the former CEO Karen Whelan. 

The redacted report is unacceptable to residents who fund Surrey Heath Borough Council and who paid for this report. We demand that this be taken further and the unredacted version is handed to the Police. 

This petition also calls for the resignations of Councillor Richard Brooks and Councillor Charlotte Morley (and any other Councillors who were on the Executive at the time) so Surrey Heath residents can elect new local representatives who they can trust. 

We also call on any Councillor who was serving at the time, to explain why they failed to do their job in scrutinising the Executive. They were either complicit in the scandal or demonstrated a total lack of competence for allowing it to go unnoticed for so long. 

Failure to meet these demands will leave a shadow over the Council and it will not be trusted by residents again!
