Huma Younus, a 14 year old Catholic girl, was kidnapped from her home by three men on October 10th 2019, in Karachi, Pakistan. She was abducted from her home and was taken 600km away. She was raped by her abductor, Abdul Jabar, forcibly converted to Islam and forced to marry him. She has been denied access to her family and is now pregnant due to repeated rape by Abdul Jabar.

No arrest warrant has been issued to Abdul Jabar, nor has he been ordered to return Huma back to her parental home.

Court has justified the marriage "since she has already had her firsr period."

Forced conversions and forced marriages are forbidden in Islam. The Court of Pakistan has been using the name of Shariah (Islamic law) to close the case.
