Pakistan is home of some rare species of wildlife. For example Asian Houbara Bustard, Astore Markhor, Blind Dolphin etc. According to the International Union of the Conservation of Nature, IUCN the global population of Houbara is between 50k to 100k. The population is declining with time and will reach to extinct due to rapid hunting; specifically in arid region Pakistan like desert of Thal, Balochistan. The main hunters are the princes of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE; and other elites who are fond of hunting around the world. The main reason of hunting is the meat that boast the sexual desire and for pleasure of hunting.

The hunters pay the amount to Wildlife departments for specified number of hunt. However, they never stop upto allowed hunt but bribe the related authorities and hunt the Houbara as much as they wants.

In 2015, Supreme Court of Pakistan banned the hunting and then next year lift the ban on special circumstances to welcome the so called elites to improve the country's economy and develop good relation with Arab countries. This is hypocrisy and such a SHAME!!!
