No Work - No Income - No Rent / No Eviction

Saving a life from this deadly virus medically is as important as Saving Source of Living of an individual or Shelter / Home of a family.

Due to Nation Wide Lock Down in India as a result of the Corona Virus Pandemic, there is much confusion in the rental property market and a tenant’s obligation to pay rent, Since our Agreements / Laws / Government Ministries are Silent on this.

As a Result of Covid-19 Pandemic most of the workers, shops, companies, small businesses, MSMEs, Statups etc dealing in non essential goods or services are facing serious trouble in managing their expenses and living. Moreover Tenants  are unable to pay rent due to loss of income.

With this petition I request Law Makers and Ministers of India to quickly address this problem and issue notification to Landlords to not collect and exempt Tenants from Rental Expense.
