We join to support and applaud the humanitarian work of Alice Nderitu, a leader who has dedicated her life to working to prevent genocide around the world.

Born in Kenya, Alice is a pioneer in the field of peacebuilding and violence prevention.  She successfully worked to end violent conflict in Kenya and Nigeria.  She is a leader for women's rights and women's inclusion in international relations.

In 2000, Alice was appointed the U.N.'s Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide.  She has traveled the world, seeking to advance peace in Ukraine, Sudan, Azerbaijan, and Ethiopia, to name just a few examples.

Eight days after Hamas' horrific terrorist atrocities against innocent children, adults and elderly in Israel, on Oct. 15, Alice condemned the Hamas attacks and urged the release of the babies, children and adult hostages held by Hamas.  Since the Oct. 7 attacks, Alice has worked tirelessly to advance the release of hostages and the cause of peace in Israel and Gaza.

Because Alice is doing her job to prevent genocide, now she has become a target of hate.  She has faced unfair attacks by pro-Hamas sympathizers because she is doing her job -- and she refuses to label Israel's self-defense "genocide."

We support Alice's work on behalf of the U.N.  Her moral compass is critical in the U.N. to promote peace.
