Dear friends, United Nations, members of the United Nations, NGO, Media,

I ask you to support the official appeal to the UN about establishing a UN-Men organization.
Why it is important:

The situation is:
The society is divided (ranked) into 2 groups: men and women.

It’s a fact of reality. When you say: "women and society," in this very moment you divide society into women and something… Who else exists in society if we take women from there?
There are only men left.
So this act has divided society into men and women.
So everything women ask from "society", mainly they ask from men, because there is no one else.

Including the UN organization, the situation is the same. Sometimes speakers are men, sometimes women, but generally they say: society and women, UN and UN Woman.

But we have several difficulties here:

1. There is no one to answer the questions. UN Men do not exist. So the speakers are talking with an emptiness.

2. One-side responsibility. No person will take one-side responsibility for other people. No one owes no one, to take it or to give something to someone.

3. UN have no idea about men in the UN without representing the interests of men. So the UN by itself violates the principle of gender equality – providing equal opportunities to everyone.

Men have no opportunities, because UN Men do not exist.

4. Men can not seriously talk to the UN when the UN are not doing what they are talking about. Why should men pay the UN? The UN should immediately refund all money collected from men since 2010, when the UN started to represent women only.

5. In this situation, the UN makes logical mistakes.
As "women and society" idea. But society it's men and women. 
Someone can say, "We don’t need UN Men, because UN (society) is for men." No, it is not. And this is another mistake.
We can even see here that the UN is for women even more—for the last 14 years at least (UN Women exists since 2010).
It is impossible to hear a "Men's voice" without UN-Men, thus the UN has one-side worldview.
The UN has different structures, divided society, but don’t work with men-women questions specifically.
That’s why there are «imagined structures» like «society, system», or others in your speeches.
Because men-women issues can only discover men and women together.
And there are no UN Men. So this process discover nothing.

6. Creating a negative agenda about men, which violates the principle of cooperation. There are just some bad men as well as some bad women in the world, when they do bad things.
Men are fine as well as women. 

The situation at the UN is:

1.     There are 2 women organizations in the UN: UN Women (14 years, since 2010) and UN Functional Commission - "Status of Women" (78 years, since 1946 / 68 sessions).

2.     170 NGO at least all over the world, that support UN Women. We can see their statements.

3.     The official goal of gender equality is «Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.» https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/gender-equality/

4.     There are: 0 organizations for men in the UN; 0 years; 0 supporting NGO; 0 sessions.
Because UN Men does not exist.

 

I have written to the UN and UN Women several times, but no answer has been received.

Why is the idea of gender equality not fulfilled by the UN? And, why does the UN continue to ignore it, even receiving the official appeal?
