The area that we call home, our lives, our community, and the precious historic buildings that surround us, are all at risk from regular and increasingly severe flooding. 

One in six properties in the UK are now at risk of flooding, with flood alerts being at record levels and areas like Wiltshire experiencing some of the worst periods and volumes of rainfall since records began in 1836.

A practical solution to this lies in the Britford Parish Council Community Bund Project, a crucial initiative designed to protect the Village from the devastating effects of flooding. However, this vitally important initiative is awaiting planning permission. It's therefore in our hands to rally behind this, champion the cause and demonstrate to the authorities the overwhelming need and community support this project possesses.
