We did it!

The rescission motion was passed last night at Council's Extraordinary meeting. This means that Council can now proceed with all the preliminary work to start the trail construction. Thank you to all supporters who shared this petition. I'm sure we broke every record in reaching 4000 signatures in four days. The silent majority have now spoken. Essentially people of this region want to see progress. They are tired of being held back by a handful of people with vested interests. Well done everyone. The petition will continue until 19th June when a final report will be delivered to council.
