A rescission motion is included in the agenda for Monday's Extraordinary Council meeting. It will be followed by a motion to commence construction of the rail trail with a few conditions - to either keep the rails in situ or if that is not possible to store the rails - to consider the feasibility at the design stage, within the available contingency budget, of a sealed riding surface within urban areas, and easy access to the trail at multiple locations from both north and south Armidale - to provide progress reports to council every 2 months.
