Your Ideas Are Helping Shape Campbell’s New Pool

I wanted to share a really encouraging update about the future Campbell Community Center pool. I was recently invited to participate in a focus group for the new pool. I had the opportunity to bring in and share some of the ideas, designs, feedback, and priorities that neighbors have contributed through Friends of the Campbell Pool. I walked away genuinely blown away by the experience. It was a thoughtful and productive brainstorming session. People listened to each other, built on ideas, and talked about ways the community can help support the grant process for the new pool. And I’m especially excited about what happens next: Ideas collected from our community are going to be shared at the next community meeting. That means the time people have spent designing pools, sharing feedback, voting, signing this petition, and participating in the conversation is helping. When I started Friends of the Campbell Pool, my hope was simply to create another way for neighbors to participate and make their voices heard. Getting the opportunity to bring those ideas into the focus group - and now seeing them continue into the next community meeting - means a lot to me. Thank you to everyone who has participated, signed, shared, designed, voted, or simply told a neighbor about what’s happening with our pool. Please keep the ideas coming.
