Support the Largest Recycling Facility in Hawaii

The Issue

PVT is the largest recycling facility in the state and keeps our island largely free of illegal dumping of construction waste, which would occur much more without PVT. PVT employs 67 workers and 23 contingent employees. The company is a major contributor to the community, particularly West Oahu schools, with direct financial contributions to school programs and activities, as well as providing college scholarships to high-achieving graduates.

PVT is essential to the continued efficient and environmentally responsible disposal of construction materials. The relocation of operations will enable PVT to continue supporting local businesses and workers, as well as the West Oahu community.

We support the acceptance of the environmental impact statement for PVT Land Company’s planned relocation of its recycling, renewable energy activities and landfill operations by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu. Please help PVT continue the important work they are doing by signing the petition.
