As the founder and president of the M.E.N (Men Entering Nursing) club, I am personally committed to uplifting male participation and retention at George Fox University's College of Nursing. Creating an inclusive community is both a mandate and a need.

Research indicates that men are more likely to quit nursing school, often citing feelings of alienation and loneliness at higher rates than their female peers. We believe that a dedicated club like M.E.N can serve as a powerful support system and network for male nursing students, alleviating feelings of seclusion and encouraging sustained participation.

Making a difference starts when the university environment encourages inclusivity and diversity. The M.E.N club represents a step towards this goal. To make this a reality, we need the backing of our student body. According to George Fox University club regulations, we need 25 supportive signatures for the club's application.
