Our village has seen several community establishments close over the past few years, leaving residents with limited options for dining and social spaces. Currently, there is only one pub serving food and one offering drinks. Beyond these, we have no coffee shops or other communal venues.

The area proposed for redevelopment is currently marked as a ‘unsafe building’ Transforming this neglected site into a vibrant, community-focused business would not only improve the image of the village but also attract visitors and provide much-needed services for both current and future residents. 

For years, numerous planning applications for this site have been rejected, each for different but valid reasons. However, the latest application appears to address all the key issues that previously prevented approval.

This is a crucial opportunity to transform a dangerous and unsafe area into a valuable asset for the community.
