The Issue

Our beloved English teacher, Ms. Neha Haque, is facing an unjust decision by the school board to leave CPSA. As students, we can't imagine our school life without her. Ms. Haque not only teaches English to students across grades 9, 11, and 12, but she is also an integral part of our education beyond the classroom. She's the guiding force behind our SAT and ACT prep, our mock trial (which won state this year and placed 13th in the nation), speech, and even debate, and even our Science Fair projects. She even teaches Spanish classes to her students after school. Her commitment to helping us succeed is unmatched, and her removal would be a significant loss.

The board's decision is supposedly due to students "knowing too much about her," a reason that does not justify the impact her departure will have on our academic lives. Ms. Haque's teaching methods and her personal connection with students make the learning experience exceptional and inspiring. She dedicates herself to our future, putting in countless hours to ensure we are prepared for college and beyond.

Ms. Haque is not just a teacher; she is a mentor and a motivator. Her passion for teaching and her genuine care for her students set her apart as one of the best educators at CPSA. Her loss would not only be a blow to us students, but also to the quality of education at our school.

We urge the school board to reconsider their decision and allow Ms. Haque to continue influencing our lives positively. We believe her presence enriches our learning environment and inspires students to strive for excellence.

Please sign this petition to show your support for Ms. Neha Haque and help us in our mission to keep her in our school. Let’s come together as students, parents, and a community to ensure she can continue making a difference in our lives. Together, we can make a change and stand up for an educator who truly embodies dedication and excellence.
