Reached out to other polititians

• We have reached out local City officials like the City of Sunrise, City of Weston, BSO, and Broward county.
• We have been communicating with the BSO Weston, and the City of Weston officials asking for their support. If you have their contact info we urge all to send the a message asking them to support the petition by contacting Sen. Lauren Book about it.
• We have also found support from out-of-state politicians that have followed the conversation and have been able to pass similar measures on their state in the past years with amazing positive results regarding road fatalities and road safety.

We have also reached out to Florida Senator Wilton Simpson (Orlando area)
& Representative Emily Slosberg (Boca Raton), whom have already proposed similar legislation ahead of the 2019 State legislative session. We urge all petition signers to take the time to reach out to their local officials, City, County & State and to share the link to the petition asking them to support this change by contacting the state legislative officials about it. The more people in the Florida Legislature that take notice the more chances we have of achieving this much needed change and adverting a tragedy.
