Selectmen meet at 6pm Monday 7/10/17 to discuss the turbines. Abandoning the turbines will cost Falmouth taxpayers $14 MILLION (per CC Times 7/7/17). Help prevent this awful possibility! The decision is badly flawed, and the $14 million cost of turbine removal is more than our Town can bear – not to mention the awful precedent of scrapping valuable clean energy infrastructure. The voters were very clear in May 2013. The Board of Health was clear in their October 2015 letter to your board. And in April, a jury found the turbines are not a nuisance. People are naturally tired of this controversy. But please do the right thing, for taxpayers and the environment, by appealing the recent ruling and keeping both turbines running.
