Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, a truck driver, was sentenced in Colorado to 110 years in prison for a tragic road accident that killed four people. The sentence was later reduced to 10 years after massive public outcry, petitions, and political intervention.

3. Principle of Justice:

Justice must be equal for all. The law should not differentiate on the basis of race, nationality, or background. Giving 48 years to Harjinder Singh while others in similar cases receive much lighter sentences is a violation of fairness, equality, and human rights.
