Bahamians are increasingly being dispossessed of their land and properties as we move into a global marketplace.

The current Quieting Title Act allows for the acquisition of land in the absence of its owners, leading to unfair dispossession.

We urge the government to bring about Legislation to Establish a comprehensive Land Registry for all lands in The Bahamas, ensuring transparency and protection for rightful landowners.
