Studies have shown that first and second grades are the most critical to a child's development both educationally and behaviorally. We chose to send our children to BSS because we believed that through leadership, both in  education and spirit, they would thrive in their journey through school.

For this reason, we are asking all current First Grade parents (class of 2030) to support our petition for three second grade classes for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year. 

BSS promotes a 16:1 student/teacher ratio. The current ratios for 2023 are:

Kindergarten 18:1
1st Grade 23:1 (proposed ratio for next year is 25:1)
2nd Grade 17.5:1
3rd Grade 21:1
4th Grade 19:1
5th Grade 16:1
6th Grade 20:1
7th Grade 17:1
8th Grade 21:1
Our first graders are NOT getting the focused attention that BSS promises to deliver.

ALL IN for standing behind their promise of supporting our children during their journey through BSS;

ALL IN for providing the best case scenario possible in solutions for this yearly problem;

ALL IN for putting our students FIRST. 16:1, not 25:1
