Support NYS legislation to include Asian American history in K-12 public schools
Support state legislation S6359A and A7260 to include the teaching of Asian American history and civic impact in NY public schools.
Take a PROACTIVE, not reactive, stance to combating hate and violence towards Asian American communities.
Let's raise our voices together to promote a more inclusive and complete understanding of the American experience by including Asian American history and civic impact in NY public schools.
All students benefit from a deeper understanding of the American experience. Supporting inclusion of Asian American history in schools is not about empowering just one community, but all communities.
Education at the K-12 levels is instrumental in shaping our children's understanding of American society and identity. In promoting acceptance and understanding of all groups and their contributions to the fabric of American society, educators are helping to build an inclusive and safer environment for all.
Support legislators, educators, and school communities in their efforts to educate all children about the complexities of Asian American experience and history.
