It is with a heavy heart that I share my story. My mother passed away on September 10, 2025. She was the pillar of our family, always making sure my 16-year-old sister's needs were met. Now that she's gone, my deepest wish is to honor her memory by taking on the responsibility of caring for my younger sister, as she would have wanted. Our mother had full custody of her, and knowing that her legacy lives on by ensuring her daughter's welfare motivates me every single day.

My youngest sister, who is just 7 years old, also deserves stability and love. Although her father is still present, his involvement has not been consistent or adequate. It was my mother who constantly ensured my youngest sister had what she needed, and when she couldn't, I stepped up. It was always my mother’s wish that I continue this role in her absence.

Taking on the guardianship of my sisters is crucial, not just for fulfilling my mother's last wish, but for ensuring they grow up in a nurturing environment. I am reaching out for support in gaining legal guardianship of my 16-year-old sister and partial guardianship of my 7-year-old sister. This will ensure their emotional, educational, and physical well-being is prioritized and safeguarded.
