Locals 10538

2128 Boston Post Road, Larchmont, New York (Tax Parcel 6-13-35)

Dear Mayor Bauer and Hon. Members of the Board of Trustees: 

We, the undersigned, are neighbors, business owners, tenants, and/or property owners adjacent to Locals 10538, and other Larchmont community members. We have a strong interest in ensuring the continued vitality of downtown Larchmont. We are submitting this Petition to the Village of Larchmont to clearly state that we are in favor of Locals 10538 receiving renewal of its Special Permit from the Village to continue to function as a dining and entertainment venue. Since Locals 10538 has opened, it has become an essential resource to our community, providing space for events for many local residents, community organizations, and not-for-profits. The use of Locals 10538 for events, as permitted by the Village, has benefited our community and only contributed to the quality of life in our downtown area. Locals 10538 is a considerate neighbor that respects the community and has taken extensive steps to mitigate potential noise impacts from their use.

Locals 10538 is a major contributor to the economic success of our Village, and it has invested significant time and money into restoring the property and benefiting our downtown area as a whole. We commend the Village for allowing this establishment to open and voice our full support for it to receive its Special Permit renewal for it to continue to operate.
