We, the undersigned, are writing to strongly support continued printing of ballots and election materials in the Korean language for our county's Korean community.

With an estimated over 50,000 Koreans in the Santa Clara County, many of whom are seniors and/or have limited English proficiency, lack of Korean materials could severely hamper their right to vote. For these individuals, access to election materials in Korean language is essential to understanding the voting process, candidates, and ballot measures.

Providing Korean-language materials is not only crucial for inclusivity, fairness, and upholding democratic principles but is also a legal obligation to ensure equal access to voting rights. Therefore, we strongly urge you to uphold this obligation by continuing to print ballots and election-related materials in the Korean language. Failure to do so would undermine democracy, hinder voter participation, and deny our community its fundamental rights.

5만 명 이상의 한인이 살고 있는 산타클라라 카운티 지역에는 많은 어르신들과 언어 장벽이 있는 분들이 포함되어 있습니다. 한국어 자료의 부족은 이들이 투표하는 권리를 심각하게 제약할 수 있습니다. 이들에게는 투표 과정, 후보자, 그리고 투표 항목을 이해하는 데 한국어 자료가 매우 중요합니다.

한국어 자료를 제공하는 것은 포용성, 공정성, 민주주의 원칙을 유지하는 데 중요합니다. 따라서 저는 한국어로 된 투표지와 선거 관련 자료의 계속된 인쇄를 촉구합니다. 이를 통해 민주주의 원칙을 유지하고, 유권자 참여를 촉진하며, 우리 지역 사회의 모든 구성원들이 동등하게 선거에 참여할 수 있도록 보장할것입니다.
